From last week’s conversation, let’s continue with an interesting thought question: If we care about each person as individually important, why don’t we ensure that nothing bad ever happens to him or her?

The question almost answers itself. Does this man look happy? Although nothing bad can happen to him, we cannot do anything for himself, make any decisions, is completely at the mercy of whoever is protecting him.

Additionally, the question is asked, who decides what decisions we can and cannot make for ourselves?

How is that person chosen? Does he or she take the job in one way or another? Do we get a vote or is our consent assumed?

Many countries in the world prevent any choice, and they are not happy places.

Generally, they put individuals who won’t conform into cells much worse than this one. Does anyone have that right?

My answer is an emphatic NO.
